Stain & Odor Removal

While we make every effort to remove all spots and stains, it’s important to remember that not all spots and stains are removable without potential color or fiber texture damage. Rest assured we will make you aware of any spots or stains during our inspection that may present one of these issues.

Removing odors from your carpet is just as important as removing stains and spots. We always include a deodorizer in our standard service. However, if you have heavy-duty odors like mildew, urine contamination, smoke, and more, you can rely on us to eliminate them thoroughly.

The first phase of removal is identification. We use methods that incorporate asking questions, looking at it, smell, UV light, moisture meters, and pH meters. Ultraviolet light and moisture meters will determine urine contamination. Even if the contaminated spot is dry to the touch, salts in urine attract moisture, allowing moisture meters to determine its size and making it easier to remove.

Once the odors have been located, we will apply a neutralizer/deodorizer that’s appropriate for that particular odor. The area is then thoroughly flushed and rinsed. All of our deodorizers are non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
